Live broadcast on "Inter": Vyacheslav Uzelkov will fight with Beybut Shumenov to take WBA title

July 23, Lemur, California, famous Ukrainian boxer Vyacheslav Uzelkov, who represents promoter company of  Klitschko brothers "K2 Promotions", will go into the ring against Beybut Shametov from Kzakhstan, the current world champion in the WBA version of the Light category. This fight will be one of the most intriguing and important confrontations of this summer!

Live broadcast of the match between Vyacheslav Uzelkov and Beybut Shumenov you can see on "Inter" on Saturday, July 24, at 5:50 am. And at 7:00 "Inter" will premiere produced documentary "Uzelok" about famous resident of Vinnitsa region.

31 year-old Vyacheslav Uzelkov has won 22 fights and he hadn't any defeats. He has 14 victories by knockout.  In 2008 and 2009 Vyacheslav made four protections of  prestigious Intercontinental title of WBA. He gained a reputation as one of the most promising light heavyweight of the world and became an official candidate for the belt of World Champion in this version. Spectacular, explosive nokauter Uzelkov became a real star in the ring of Ukraine. And now he has a great opportunity to tell about himself globally.

As for his opponent, 27-year-old Beybut Shumenov is phenomenally quickly reached the top. He's become the World Champion in the 10th match, after two years and two months of beginning of his professional career only.  He has 9 wins, one defeat, which strucked him Gabriel Kampilo, Spanish "techie", the Champion WBA of that time in August 2009. On the second attempt Shumenov has became the World Champion. He's defeated Spaniard in rematch which took place six months after their first meeting by means of controversial decision of judges. Recall that Uzelkov also had to meet in the ring with Kampilo, and Vyacheslav defeated future World Champion much more confident than Shumenov. Uzelkov defeated Gabriel by knockout in the sixth round.

"To avoid issues I need to knockout Shumenov. That is exactly I intend to do, - said Uzelkov. He would not have title for a long time. The title of the Champion should move to me."
