A Big Difference. No comment
The New Year's Eve and the New Year night the Ukrainian viewers made their choice in favor of the TV Channel INTER. The Inter's share reached 24% among the viewers in the age group '18+', which doubled the showings of its closest rival.
By a significant margin the TV Channel INTER was taking a lead in the audiences '18-54' and '18-45' with 22% and 20.9% respectively against 12.2% and 13.8% gained by the New Channel which ranked second in the audiences mentioned.

One in three viewers opted for the TV Channel INTER to see in the New Year with. The New Year Greetings presented by President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko gained a share of 32,1%, 30,3%, 29,3% among the audiences "18+", "18-54" и "18-45 respectively.
The Programs of INTER led in the Top 10 programs of the day with the major part of the products presented in the TOP being aired on Inter.

Traditionally, the Program 'Vecherny Kvartal' was a huge success. It attracted over one third of the viewers, and at its peak the program share made up nearly 50% of the audience. In the '18+' audience, its rating was 16.9%, which made it second in the season of all the Ukrainian TV (the leading positions with 18.4 rating were taken by the broadcast of a boxing match with Vitaly Klitschko vs Kevin Johnson on Inter 12.12 at 23.54.
No less successful was a New Year musical 'How Cossacks...'. The average share of its two parts before and after midnight made up 20.8%/20.4%/21.3% in the '18+', '18-54' and '18-45' audiences respectively.

** Due to the error in the data presented by the monitoring company where the New Year Greetings of Ukraine's President Viktor Yushchenko on the Inter Channel hadn't been selected into a separate program the data was shown for the interval between 23:54 and 24:00.
