Biography

Kostyantyn Grubych was born on August 20 in Poltava.

He started writing articles for newspapers in 1982, while being a high school student.

Since 1987 till 1989 he did military service in Soviet army by working in division newspaper "The Colours". This fact enabled him to become a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR, and back then he was the youngest member of the organisation.
In 1989 Kostyantyn got his first job on TV, in the Main office of programs for children and youth of Ukrainian Television.

In 1992 he graduated Kiev National University named after T. G. Shevchenko as a journalist. The same year he became a host and an author of his first program "Class-junior-business". Later Kostyantyn was an author of talk show "Oddities" (1995-1997), which was nominated for Golden Era award as the best talk show of the year. He also was a host and an author of daily programs "Children’s session" and "Nobody Home" as well as a script writer and a host of programs "Tasty Country", "Deafmania with Kostyantyn Grubych", "Breakfast with 1+1" and as a news reporter for "TSN" news program at 1+1 TV channel.

In August 2006 Kostyantyn Grubych won the National Award "Teletriumph" as the best journalist and reporter of the year.
Since August 2007 he works for Inter TV channel. Now he is an executive and a presenter of the "Quality mark" project.

Kostyantyn is married, he brings up two daughters and a son.
